Dear Matt and Nancy, Yours is probably the best inn I’ve ever stayed in. It has what the big chain hotels and most places along the shore have taken out of “inn”: a distinct personality and a true hospitality of a welcoming host, not just “a guy at the front desk”. What fun! Like old home week! TRULY a hidden treasure. Relaxed, laid back, I didn't know that there were still places like this still around! In just a matter o hours, yo feel like you have know Nancy and Matt forever. Never mind the NO smoking, all you have to do is walk out your door to a GREAT terrace and blaze away!!! HA! The bonus is that it is also fun and can be as social as I want it to be. Matt and Nancy are wonderful hosts; I usually feel like I am visiting dear friends when I am there. And of course there is always Lucille, the wonderdog. She knows I like to be greeted and have a nice conversation with her and she happily obliges me. I would recommend it to someone traveling alone as well as with a friend(s). It's a welcoming place and "family" members will be comfortable there! Carol |

The island also offers many exciting things to do; evening cruises around the island, the aquarium, ferry trips to other islands. Did I mention fresh catch-of-the day and if you come to enjoy the peacefulness of the ocean itself, you will find at least 3 types of beach fronts within 5 miles, to walk upon.
